Mission Training Resources

There are MANY training facilitators and material sites, here are a few I have found to be helpful!

Short-Term Mission Academy (MSUM) - Provides training for team leaders of mission trips for the United Methodist denomination. The STM Academy covers the essentials of leading a team of people cross-culturally and home again.

World Servants, Inc. - Offers a variety of training opportunities, using experiential learning techniques to prepare team leaders to go back home and train their teams. Weekend events are scheduled throughout the spring and late winter. Custome events are also available.

STEM International Bookstore - Offers a variety of on-line resources to get your team ready.

Missionary Training Int. - Provides printed resources and residential training programs for people called into career service overseas. Their extensive resources can help the short-term team leader too!
